Scariff Community College

PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD OUTSIDE THE COLLEGE, FINISH LINE AND START LINE  AS YOU WILL IMPEDE THE RACE.

Yes

Q: How much does it cost to enter?

The race series as a whole is €70 for the 4 races.  €10 on the day for the 5Km only

Q: Where can I park?

Parking is available in the car park in the college but is limited so please carpool if possible

Q: How do I enter?

You can enter the 5k only online at https://events.fitlive.ie/run-clare---the-5k-resolution-run

Can I enter on the day?

Yes, registration will open on the morning from 9.00am to 10.30am sharp

Q: Where do I get my race number and chip?

Registration and bib collection will take place in the Community College on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:30am sharp

PLEASE REMEMBER YOU WILL NEED TO CHECK IN AT EACH OF THE RACES IF YOU ARE TAKING PART IN THE SERIES. LOST BIBS WILL BE CHARGED A €2 ADMINISTRATION FEE. YOU MUST KEEP HOLD OF YOUR BIB.

No

Q:What time does the race start?

11am sharp

Q: Where does the race start?

200m from the college towards the town.

Q: Should I wear my race number to the front or back?

Always wear your race number on the front

Q: Are there pacers?

No

Q: Will the roads be closed?

No, so please respect the stewards and respect the rules of the road at all times

Q: Will I get an official finishing time?

Yes all results will be posted here after the event.

Q: Is the course marked in miles or kilometres?

It will be marked in Kilometres

Q: Will there be water stations on the course?

No, water will be available at the finish line

Q: What First Aid facilities do you have?

Civil defence will be on hand to offer assistance to anyone in distress

Will there be toilets?

Yes, toilets will be available in the college and also at the start line.

 

Q: Are there finisher’s medals?

Yes!!

Q: When will prizegiving be?

Prizes will be given for first 3 Male and Female entrants over the line after the race at approximately 12pm
