Starting and finishing at Scariff Community College.

Yes

Q: Is the event chip timed?

Yes

 

Q: How much does it cost to enter?

The race series as a whole is €70 for the 4 races.  €20 on the day for the 10 mile only

 

Q: Will I receive a T-Shirt?

No the eligibilty for receiving TShirts ended in October 2018, but finishers of all 4 events will receive their bespoke finishers illuminated medal at the end of the event 

 

Q: Where can I park?

Parking is available in the car park at Scariff Community College and along the main road within 400m of the start line but is limited so please carpool if possible

 

Q: How do I enter?

You can enter the 10 mile only online at https://events.fitlive.ie/run-clare-tuamgraney-10-mile

 

Can I enter on the day?

Yes, registration will open from 10.30am to 12.30pm sharp

 

Q: Where do I get my race number and chip?

Registration will take place in Scariff Community College

 

Q: Can I enter and walk the course?

Yes. The race cut off will be 3 and half hours.

 

Q: Are there age restrictions?

Yes, you must be over 16 years old to participate.

 

Q:What time does the race start?

1pm sharp

Q: Should I wear my race number to the front or back?

Always wear your race number on the front

 

Q: Are there pacers?

No

 

Q: Will the roads be closed?

No, so please respect the stewards and respect the rules of the road at all times

 

Q: Will I get an official finishing time?

Yes all results will be posted here after the event.

 

Q: Is the course marked in miles or kilometres?

It will be marked in miles

 

Q: Will there be water stations on the course?

Yes at approximately 4 and 7 miles, and water will be available at the finish line

 

Q: What First Aid facilities do you have?

Civil defence will be on hand to offer assistance to anyone in distress

 

Q: Will there be refreshments available after the race?

Yes, refreshments will be available in Scariff Community College Hall after the event.

 

Will there be toilets?

Yes, toilets will be available in Scariff Community College.

 

Q: Are there finisher’s medals?

Yes for entrants who have completed all four events they will receive a bespoke illuminated medal at the finish line.

I will not compete in the race unless I am medically fit to do so on the day and I accept that I will be participating entirely at my own risk.
