Q: How much does it cost to enter?

The race series as a whole is €70 for the 4 races.  €25 on the day for the 10km only



Q: Will I receive a T-Shirt?

No, Tshirts were available for the first 400 entrants only. However ALL entrants will receive a unique finishers medal

Q: Where can I park?

Parking is available in Clare County Council car park and accompanying areas. Space is limited so please carpool if possible and please respect our neighbours

Q: How do I enter?

Can I enter on the day?

Yes, registration will open from 9.00am to 10.30am sharp and on Friday evening from 6-7pm

​

Q: Where do I get my race number and chip?

Registration will take place in The Local bar, Lifford road, Ennis  from 9.00am to 10.30am sharp and on Friday evening from 6-7pm

​

PLEASE REMEMBER YOU WILL NEED TO CHECK IN AT EACH OF THE RACES IF YOU ARE TAKING PART IN THE SERIES. LOST BIBS WILL BE CHARGED A €2 ADMINISTRATION FEE. YOU MUST KEEP HOLD OF YOUR BIB.

Q: Are there age restrictions?

You must be over 16 years old to participate

Q:What time does the race start?

11am sharp

Q: Should I wear my race number to the front or back?

Always wear your race number on the front

Q: Are there pacers?

Yes, there will be pacers for 40/45/50/55/60 minutes

Q: Will the roads be closed?

No, so please respect the stewards and respect the rules of the road at all times

​

Q: Will I get an official finishing time?

Yes all results will be posted here after the event.

Q: Is the course marked in miles or kilometres?

It will be marked in Kilometres

​

Q: Will there be water stations on the course?

Yes, at approximately 5km and water will be available at the finish line

​

Q: What First Aid facilities do you have?

Civil defence will be on hand to offer assistance to anyone in distress

​

Q: Will there be refreshments available after the race?

Yes, refreshments will be available in The Local Bar

​

Will there be toilets?

Yes, toilets will be available in The Local Bar and we will also have portaloos near the start

​

Q: Are there finisher’s medals?

Yes, each finisher will receive a unique finishers medal

​

Q: Are there prizes?

Yes, there are the following categories

Male and Female Senior 1st/2nd/3rd

Male and Female 1st o40/o45/50/o55/o60

I will not compete in the race unless I am medically fit to do so on the day and I accept that I will be participating entirely at my own risk. I accept that the Organisers, their Sponsors and Partners will not be liable for any action, claim, costs or expenses that may arise in consequence of my participation of the event. By entering, I give my permission to Run Clare to use my name, quotes and photographic likeness for promotional and marketing purposes.
Entry fees cannot be refunded, transferred or deferred.
